Staff housing for employees: how it works.
For HR, people managers and buyers arranging housing for employees or contracted staff, in Gothenburg or another Swedish town. The guide covers what you need to prepare, what you receive and what is agreed before anyone moves in.
The company is the contracting party
Personalboende is a service from AWP Superhost AB for companies, not for the individual employee. The company that sends the request is the contracting party and receives the proposal, the quote and the invoice from us. The employee needs no tenancy agreement of their own.
Give the company name, a contact person and any purchase order or invoice reference in the request; the invoicing is confirmed with the quote.
Gothenburg and other towns
In the Gothenburg area we let homes we operate ourselves. They are shown in the catalogue with photos, guest capacity, bedrooms and beds.
In other towns the home is provided by a partner we have vetted. The agreement, the terms and the invoice are still ours, so you have the same counterpart wherever your staff work. If nothing in the town fits, we tell you.
What a proposal is based on
The proposal depends on where your staff will work, how many people will stay, when the first person arrives and how long the placement lasts. Say whether anyone arrives later, whether everyone needs their own bed and whether some can share a room.
Do not send passports, personal identity numbers or other sensitive records in the request. Any occupant details needed later are requested separately.
Beds, rooms and the details of each home
Guest capacity is not the number of individual beds, so the proposal states the room arrangement for the home we propose. For our homes in Gothenburg, each home page lists guest capacity, bedrooms, beds and bathrooms separately.
Availability and the arrangement are confirmed for your dates. A submitted request is not a reservation.
Price and invoicing
The price is per person per night, excluding VAT. You receive a written quote within 24 hours on weekdays, with the binding price and the VAT. For our homes in Gothenburg the price indication on the home page shows the starting price for the number of people and nights you enter, and from 30 nights the quote can reach a lower price per night.
The invoicing arrangement is confirmed with the proposal. Terms for changes, extensions and cancellation are in the quote or the agreement.
Arrival and the stay
The address, how to get in and who the employee contacts during the stay are agreed before travel.
If the placement needs extending or more people need to move in, reply to the quote or the confirmation. The change is confirmed in writing and depends on availability.
